Introducing Elliot Adler

I’m an artist now residing in Sacramento, California. My artistic journey continues on.

When I graduated from Art Center College of Design I headed to the San Francisco bay area. In San Francisco I started my career in advertising design . Along the way. 45+ years, in the San Francisco bay area and 3.5 years in Nashville, TN my artistic creations and dreams endure and emerge.

My creative background and imagination have provided me with a rich assortment images to focus and begin composing and working on my art. Currently I am producing artworks for exhibition or for sale. 

agrarianism

This is a series of portrait paintings of animals in the prime of their life. By design I have selected a minimal color pallet to enhance the graphic and iconic gesture and personality of each animal. I made an effort to focus on the animals facial expression and the animals eyes. The animal is reaching out to be noticed. In addition the paintings feature fabricated installations. Each painting is unique. Some artworks are an installed sculpture story setting. 

escapism

Is a series of imaginary landscapes. The subjects in the vistas contain known images, juxtaposed and represented in past, present and future. The core for this series of paintings is surrealism.

botanicals

A tribute series to nature’s design. The composition for each of these paintings include an abundance of organic shapes, vibrant color and vivid unique composition. This series has roots in graphics, impressionism and surrealism.
